Denver Film Festival
November 2nd - 13th
Although this event is already in full swing, there’s still time to get in on the fun! Sponsored by the Denver Film Society, the film festival offers over 200 local, national, and international independent films and in-person guests. The festival started in 1978 and is a non-profit dedicated to supporting the arts. If you’re a film fan, or just interested in supporting the art community, head on over to their website to grab your tickets before it’s too late!
Denver Christkindl Market
November 18th - December 23rd
To honor European history and have a little fun, Skyline Park transforms into an old world Christmas village complete with wooden huts, artisan crafts, and even a German Bier Hall. This event transports you to an authentic German public square holiday market and offers something for everyone on your Christmas list-- including you! Come shop at Christkindl Market to buy gifts, try new foods, and enjoy a piece of history!
Slow Food Farmers’ Market
Now - November 20th
If you’re looking for a fresh take on food, and a chance to support local growers, check out the Slow Food Farmers’ Market at The Source. Slow Food is all about clean growing and celebrating local food production. The event takes place every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through the end of November. If you’re looking to add a little something extra to your Thanksgiving meal, check out The Source, enjoy some culinary and cocktail making demonstrations, and most importantly, support your local growers!
Southwest Rink at Skyline Park
Begins November 22nd
Now that the temperatures are officially dropping, it’s time to break out the ice skates! Celebrate the holidays and the cold weather by taking a spin around the ice rink at Skyline Park! For our experienced skaters who own their own pair, entrance is free, but don’t worry, if you don’t have a pair of your own, you can still rent skates for $2 when you get there! Grab your family and be one of the first to skate Skyline this season!
Holiday Food and Gift Festival
November 18th - 20th
If you’re looking to get your shopping done early, but would rather spend Black Friday in, be sure to make an appearance at the Holiday Food and Gift Festival in the Colorado Convention Center. With over 400 exhibitors, you’re sure to be able to find something for everyone on your list! The doors open at 10am and tickets range from $9-$11 (with kids under 12 free). Offering everything from jewelry to clothing toffee to tea, this is the perfect chance to get everyone on your list something unique this Christmas!
